Angela came over to do some shots for a couple of articles for L7Foto.com and while she was here we decided to have some fun and get some shots for her to use. What a great girl! She was a lot of fun, very easy to work with. Check out her Model Mayhem Page for more images of her. Here are a few of my favorite shots from today.

What a great weekend! I had a last minute cancellation and David from Esquire Photography said I should hang with him for the day for what he said was a fun couple that wanted to do a trash the session. Down in a secluded cove, Cara and Eric were both super fun, enthusiastic, and daring despite the chilly March waters. I only got wet up to calves so I really could appreciate the extra effort they put in to get “the perfect shots”. David has a few shots from the shoot over on his website as well. Thanks to Cars and Eric for letting me be a part of the day, it was really enjoyable to work with you!

It’s one thing to do a shoot for a client that you may not know very well, but when a fellow photographer asks you to create some dramatic headshots for him/her it really is a special privilege. My good buddy David from Esquire Photographyasked if I would knock out some new headshots for him in my home studio. The end result was some really good shots that he is very happy with.

Ok, I will admit the last one is an outtake, but what the hell, its my website.

This past weekend we decided to head out to Palm Spring to participate in a large trash-the-dress event. We got to work with a few very fun couples out there as well as some other really good photographers. We have so many great pictures from the event it’s hard to come up with a few favorites. There are more in the Gallery link at the top of this page.

It was my absolute pleasure yesterday to be part of the Esquire Photography crew again while we got all jiggy with Michael and Briggy over at The Pacifc Edge down in Laguna Beach. What a wonderful and delightful couple they are. The ceremony overlooked the water and the final portraits and some after-ceremony beach pictures were simply stunning . I wish them all the best and hope they have a good time on their honeymoon in Hawaii.

During the winter weddings and engagement shoots drop off like water off a duck’s back. During this time we keep busy with less fun projects like product shots. While they aren’t really exciting, it keeps things moving around here. This month we did one better and rebuilt our studio so that we can bring bigger props and more people. While we haven’t had any use for the new studio besides basic product shots, we did do a fun test shoot just to try things out. Below is a shot of my daughter on a friend’s motorcycle.

What could be better for Christmas than a room full of pin-up models? Well, being asked a couple of days later to shoot some more. This shoot was with Taylor Thorne who just happens to be my daughter and is currently in second place for the Monster Garage Pinup Girl Contest. Be sure and visit her profile and vote for her!

This past weekend I got the opportunity to work with a number of talented women on a Christmas pin-up model shoot. They were all terrific and I look forward to working with some of them on some future projects. This shoot was just for Christmas cards for their signifigant others but it sure was fun and the images turned out great. Here are a few favorites:
